Goals variety 1 and 3 ended up working collectively! I identified many new property-cooked meals (and snacks!) that both Jeremy and I absolutely love. For my birthday both my brother and sister gifted me soup cookbooks and Emma surprised me with a lovely dutch oven. Jeremy and I have experimented with about 6 or seven soup recipes so far, most of them with a base of green greens like celery, peas or broccoli.
In addition we made up a simple recipe for broccoli slaw with bacon that is super delightful. At times we make it with shaved brussels sprouts alternatively of broccoli. I can’;t choose which I like more, they’;re the 2 truly good. I will share individuals recipes here sometime soon!
For objective amount 2 I would give myself like a C+. I did try a couple new hairstyles and extra a couple new items to my makeup routine, but I never feel like I tried something outside my “box” this season. I really feel extremely settled in my type, which is great point in most techniques, but I want to often be actively evolving even if it’;s in small ways. I will be carrying this objective into the new yr in some way.
My 4th aim is by far my preferred. I wanted to commence a new tradition with Jeremy that is something for just us and sometime that we can continue in the long term as our family members grows. We live near all of our family so we have a fairly extreme vacation regimen. We go to tons of diverse locations on Christmas Eve and on Christmas day to check out family members. This 12 months we made a decision to make Christmas Eve-Eve (Monday evening) our night at house to make a special dinner and deal with. Jeremy picked homemade donuts for our deal with. I’;m so excited! We’;re planning to consider 1 of Emma’;s donut recipes (almost certainly this one particular).
