Go Contemporary has joined forces with a new furnishings brand referred to as Mogg (no – not the cat!) and we imagined the types so fresh and new we imagined we’d share.
There’s one thing magical about 4-poster beds, and the ultra contemporary ‘Casetta In Canada’ 4 poster bed from Nathan Yong is a superbly easy, clean edition of this standard favourite. It’s manufactured in strong Ash wood and lacquered in pure white in an open pore finish, so the texture of the wood is noticeable, but not the colour of the wood.
These stools are beautifully crafted pieces in Arabesque Carrara marble with a seat in Farsena stone. Created for Mogg by Raimondi Malerba, they also work wonderfully as side tables.
Portion of the quirky Zio Tom assortment, this uncommon cupboard by Claudio Bitett has doors & sides made from planks of old reclaimed larch with a beautiful silvery patina. Contrasting with the larch, the interior & leading of the cupboard is matt lacquered in a decision of twelve RAL colors, or to order.
The original & quirky Bice mirror has magnetic metal butterflies, which double as hooks, best for little things like jewellery. Each mirror includes 2 large and 3 small butterflies cast in nickel brass, in mixed finishes, and there is an alternative to get added butterflies in sets of 6, which can be screwed into the wall or next to the mirror as proven here.
Mogg is an Italian business formed last 12 months by architect Nicola Galbiati, functioning with a crew of artists, designers and architects to generate an eclectic assortment of furnishings. Many of his designers are well-acknowledged in the art globe and, as Galbiati puts it, “are partners with vision – crazy dreamers” with a philosophy of “creating pieces that restrict the boundaries amongst ar2rk and design”.
