This translucent glass home by Carl Turner is mostly constructed of glass, steel and concrete. I value the aesthetic disruption that this home generates in its community. The monochromatic interiors are an interesting option but I feel they compliment the exterior really nicely. I have never ever genuinely been fond of light wood but this goes past blonde. The house presently doubles as a studio as effectively.
Slip House, created by the renowned architect Carl Turner as his personal house, is one of London’s most celebrated recent buildings. Awarded the prestigious RIBA Manser Medal (given to the greatest residence in the United kingdom) in 2013, it was described by the judges as an “exemplary lower-power home… [with] refined quality of spaces”. Houses of such distinction are hardly ever constructed in the capital, and it is definitely destined to enjoy a privileged area in the architectural background of the city.
