An old devastating apartment in Bratislava, Slovakia was the best challenge for architect Rudolf Lesňák, who managed to transform it into a luxurious and relaxed home. Possessing a total surface of 51 square meter, it was needed not to fill the interiors with ineffective day-to-day objects. All the furnishings was hence “made-to measure”, even though the open program residing and dining zone provides away the feeling of space.
Lesňák enjoys mixing colours or changing them in accordance to music or his mood. “Usually I flip it on whilst viewing Tv as a complementary light“, he says. The living wall in the residing area – and its focal point- is produced up of golden pothos plant. “I utilized residing plants, due to the fact it has positive effect on my overall health and psyche“, Lesňák says. “Moreover, it creates a normal opposite to the modern day resources and all the technologies“.
