Studio Arthur Casas have finished the layout and advancement of Baleia Condominium, a present day residential complex situated in São Sebastião, Brazil. A number of problems stood at the basis of the construction: “Our client desired to create 4 homes in the plot that is relatively modest. The project had to ally privacy for each property with an architecture that need to reveal the landscape. Our concept was to develop a single program for all the homes that should work as a unity taking benefit of the diagonal of the plot“, explained the architecture team.
With a privileged location between a massive rain forest reserve and the pretty seashore of Baleia, it was clear from the very beginning that the venture would consider advantage of the exclusive landscapes: “All during the property the spaces are created with diagonal views to other spaces, in a continuous game of fusion among inside and outdoors. The task responds to the challenge of keeping privacy between 4 shut neighbors without shedding the magnificent views of the surrounding landscape”. 2 distinct volumes linked by a corridor accommodate all living spaces. A generously-sized swimming pool with room for outdoor relaxation adds up to the checklist of appealing features when it comes to this modern day architecture project in Brazil.
