This present day apartment in Kiev, Ukraine was envisioned and created by architect Irina Mayetnaya and Mikhail Golub. The apartment layout preparing was restricted by all windows facing one side of the creating. The objective was to generate a contemporary and functional apartment for a younger loved ones with young children, all within a complete surface of 1,000 square feet (about 93 square meters).
One of the major difficulties the designers had to overcome was making sure that sufficient normal light would make its way inside the apartment. 3 rooms had been consequently planned about the window wall: the principal living room, the young children’s area and the office area. The latter was connected to the kitchen by means of floor to ceiling glass doors, an ingenious way permitting light to advance within the residence. In this distinct case, the kitchen becomes the center of the crib, the place for all the family to get with each other. The sofa and dining table are nearby, each having a clever strategic place.
