Her candle ar2rks can be perceived as an artistic manifesto towards modernity and the unfavorable modifications it implies: “For someone who is not completely cozy with the intrusion of modern day skyscrapers into their civic area, viewing them burn down can be actually satisfying“, the artist told the press.

I light these for enjoyable, I feel I’ve burnt twenty sets just myself“.
