Cycling lovers out there, check out the globe’s first suspended bicycle roundabout! Created by Ipv Delft and situated between the localities of Eindhoven, Veldhoven and Meerhoven in the Netherlands, the task encourages a healthier residing. The numbers spinning all around this initiative are remarkable: of a 70-metre (230 ft) tall central pylon, 24 steel cables and a circular bridge deck produced out of around one,000 tons of steel.
In accordance to the architects, all cables are connected to the inner side of the bridge deck, right in which the bridge deck connects to the circular counter excess w8. This way, torsion inside the bridge deck is prevented.
