ALBUS Layout created this summertime home positioned on Sailor’s Island, Porto Alegre, southern Brazil, to acquire the family members and guests of the house owner.
Looking for special pieces, the architect Henrique Steyer traveled to São Paulo, from where most of the furniture was brought. From visiting the global furnishings fair in Milan, Italy, came the inspiration of making use of an acrylic sideboard besides the white sofa. On the garden, imposing 5″ light fixtures serve as beacons for the guests arriving on boats. Broad balconies and a deck equipped with a barbeque pit can comfortably fit a massive crowd in get together days.
