Firma d.o.o. created the new workplace for pharmaceutical firm Glaxo in Sarajevo, which would not only be different from their previous space, but also boost the social ambiance and encourage collaboration among workers.
The new workplace is made as a functional, however open and colorful area the place staff can spontaneously share their ideas and talk. It supports vibrant operating atmosphere supplying assortment of function settings ideal for large and small crew meetings, really cellphone booths, informal lounges, presentation regions and formal workstations. Our main challenge was balancing in between client strict operating policies and demands on one particular hand, and short time frame on the other.
Considering that the glass facade offers generous normal lightning, we made the decision to leave most of the facade free, concentrating majority of our perform stations within the central region. 2 meeting rooms and quite booths made as translucent glass boxes with some graphic decorations in order to supply certain degree of privacy are the only spaces in direct speak to with the facade. The heart of the task is a huge staff bench that works as a node exactly where personnel from diverse departments, site visitors and clients meet. The reception desk is a combination of clean, minimalistic lines and luminous orange color – reflecting corporate layout philosophy appropriate from the entrance.
Materials and detailing approaches:
From the beginning of the layout procedure, we followed a quite basic structural scheme, taking into account the utility and economic constraints of the task. We employed colorful wall decorations in public zones such as entrance lobby, reception and corridors in buy to produce liveliness and sense of movement in these areas. Our layout scheme was inspired by the 2 the corporate colours and the natural colour palette. Even however at first straightforward industrial carpet appeared as a restriction, at the end it was key to the layout, assisting to determine connections amongst distinct places within the open program area.
Our common concept was to create a spatial sequence of colorful and fresh corners, consisting of surfaces with playful composition of smaller sized and larger squares as leitmotif. These small spaces are intended to have a specific aura of oasis, metaphorically, and offer moments of joy and optimistic stimulation for staff throughout their long doing work hrs.
