D-evo Design Studio created the Amici Bar and Restaurant situated in the city of Zamalek, in the Cairo, Egypt.
Whilst designing the space, a main aspect influenced the team’s thinking process. Striving to resolve the 80 square meter rectangular floor plan, the designers determined to turn a layout imperfection into an intimate stylish nightspot.
The devoted design approach essential Rami Makram and Mohamed Farouk to embrace the challenge as a consequence they chose to emphasize the depth of the space by conveniently accentuating the linear volume with a shutter-like wood wall cladding. The function is cleverly sparked off with an indirect lighting impact, which produces an inviting atmosphere by mixing warm light with wood.
Total, the warm shade palette contributes to the sophisticated but young style scheme. Opposite to the dining-like set-up, Amici features an oversized counter that serves as a bar region. Highlighted with a fluorescent green color and a retro graphic pattern, the bar adds a far more informal really feel to the room and acts as a focal gathering point that can simply accommodate a massive group.
